Review:

"I have been trying to use my Kindle as an actual Kindle lately and have been trying to find some new books for the boys. I was introduced to the eBook Mr. Hookumbacker and the Yella Yella Yum Yum Tree by Richard Silverton. This is a fun adventurous children’s book with a magical and whimsical story line.

This is a book that is really going to get your kids thinking and having fun while they are enjoying the journey of Holly Shallina. This story is full of fun and silly names that are sure to get your kids attention. As Holly travels around The Forest of Cracking Stone to the Village of Wiggle Twig, she meets fun new friends. I mean what kid wouldn’t get into a story about characters like Buddy Trix and Cherry Petals? The author really tries to make you feel like you are there with all the characters. The details are amazing and sure to keep the attention of even the most fidgety child!

One of my favorite things about this book is how it helps to send a message to kids and families about the importance of preserving our environment and helping to take care of our helpless creatures. It also helps to teach the importance of teamwork and friendship."
